Wedding fayre season is far from over, with a number of great events happening throughout the North East this November. The first of our recommended events is a Civil Partnership event at the Hall Garth Hotel on November 3rd. This is the first event of it's kind in the area and one not to be missed by anyone planning a civil partnership.
Also on November 3rd is the Hurworth Grange wedding fayre from Perfectly You Events.
The following week (Sunday, November 10th) the Darlington Weddings team will be at Wynyard Hall for the Qwest wedding showcase. This venue is outstanding, and one of the most popular in the North East.
Vintage lovers will really appreciate our final recommended event for November... Brides Up North returns to the York National Railway Museum for the Luxury & Vintage Grand Wedding Exhibition.
See full details for each event here.
Darlington Weddings is proud to be working with Walworth Castle to host their Autumn wedding fayre. Walworth Castle is a 12th century castle set in 18 acres of lawns and woodlands. An absolute must see venue is you haven't chosen yours yet!
We have over 30 of the leading wedding suppliers attending, and the Walworth Castle wedding team will be on hand to show you around this beautiful venue.
The highly popular Sunday Lunch Carvery is also open where a main course of local beef or pork, seasonal vegetables and homemade organic Yorkshire Puddings is excellent value at only £8.50. Why not bring your fiance along and treat him to Sunday Lunch after the fayre?!

There is a focus on colours this season where soft blush tones and compelling ivories contrast fiercely with the daring black, adding drama and elegance to every silhouette.
Ian Stuart, Jenny Packham and Enzoani have allured us with their latest Bridal Collections, where beautiful feminine lines and softly contoured layers create a second skin in a world where nothing is as it seems.

Since launching his brand in London, Ian Stuart has been awarded UK Bridal Designer of the Year an incredible five times, and has attracted worldwide attention for his daring, dramatic pieces.
From theatrical and intricate full length gowns, to short and sweet prom-style frocks, Ian truly offers something for every bride, as his ever-expanding collection continues to showcase his innovative approach to bridal design.
Alexandra and Tim's wedding was recently featured in issue 4 of DW Magazine. We loved it so much, that we wanted to share even more from their big day on the Darlington Weddings Blog. Stan & Jane from Stan Seaton Photography captured the images perfectly and we love Alexandra's vintage gown, plus many more of their wedding details. You can see the full list of suppliers at the end of the post.
We met across a crowded kitchen at the London PR agency for whom we both worked in 2008. We were together for three years before Tim proposed, whilst staying in a holiday cottage in the Alsace region of France. On the third day of the holiday (a Monday), the plan was to propose at the end of nice meal outside, watching the sun go down over the valley below.
