Meet "OLLIE", our experienced and loveable British Barn Owl!

Expertly trained she will glide silently from the hand of the falconer to the waiting gloved hand of the groom or best man, delivering you rings with style and charm.

The falconer and Ollie will arrive approximately 1 hour before your service is to begin. This will give her plenty of time to settle in and meet the person to whom she will be flying who will then be guided on how to handle the ring delivery. All very easy, friendly and relaxed.

Once the rings are exchanged Ollie will be passed back to the falconer and carried away so your ceremony can continue.

After the ceremony Ollie and the falconer are available for 1 hour to mingle with your guests who are welcome to handle and be photographed with her should they wish!

We recommend booking as soon as the date and venue for your special day is confirmed, this will avoid disappointment as demand for Ollie is high!

We have just recently got married at Heighington Church and we had the pleasure of having Chris and the gorgeous Ollie at our wedding. Chris attended the rehersal along with a yonger owl learning the ropes of ring bearing. The whole thing was amazing and the guests couldnt believe what they were seeing on the day.... really different and although many people laughed at the thought of the rings being flown down the aisle by a owl at first before the wedding itself they have later said how lovely and beautiful the whole thing was!
Chris and Ollie then came to the venue where most of our guests had pictures taken holding the owl and really enjoyed this while we were having our pictures taken which is usally a bit of a boring lull in the day for people.....very much recommended!

Chris was superb - he came along for the rehearsal, spent plenty of time then and also after the ceremony, which was ideal as it was something for guests to do while we were having our photos done.

We had the pleasure of Ollie and Chris at our wedding this year the 12th September 2009 at Lumley Castle.
We originally thought of having this idea at our wedding when my parents had mentioned they had seen something in the paper a few months prior to our wedding. We wanted something unique and different within our service and this was ideal.
From the full process of contacting Chris at Talcon Falconry through to the actual day of our wedding was excellent service. Ollie herself is such a lovely character and I would recommend this to anyone who wants to give the Wow factor and surprise guests just like we did. Everyone is still talking about it to this day and we have some great photos of Ollie which is great for the wedding album.
Basically Ollie will fly down on queue of the best man standing up with your wedding rings attached to her feet and land on the best mans arm, you then unlatch the rings and Ollie will fly back to the handler it is so graceful and romantic.
